Hue, is a city steeped in history and culture, making it an attractive destination for digital nomads seeking a blend of work and exploration. While the city itself offers plenty to see and do, the surrounding region is also ripe with opportunities for weekend getaways. From popular tourist spots to hidden gems, here are seven destinations that are perfect for a short trip from Hue.

Da Nang

Just a two-hour drive from Hue, Da Nang is a vibrant coastal city known for its sandy beaches, the Marble Mountains, and the Dragon Bridge. It's a great place to unwind, with a mix of modern amenities and traditional Vietnamese culture. Visitors can enjoy water sports, explore caves and Buddhist sanctuaries in the Marble Mountains, or simply relax on My Khe Beach.
