What do I need to know before moving to Andorra?

When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Andorra, they said:

"Before moving to Andorra, expats should be aware that the country is a small, mountainous principality located between France and Spain. The official language is Catalan, although Spanish, French, and Portuguese are also widely spoken. Expats should also be aware that Andorra is a tax haven, with no income tax or capital gains tax. Additionally, the cost of living in Andorra is relatively high, so expats should plan accordingly. Finally, expats should be aware that Andorra is a very safe country, with a low crime rate," replied a member in Andorra.

How do I find a place to live in Andorra?

We asked expats how they chose their neighborhood and found a place to live. They answered:

"The best way to find a place to live in Andorra is to start by researching online. There are a variety of websites that list available properties for rent or sale in Andorra, such as Idealista, Andorra Sotheby's International Realty, and Andorra Real Estate. Additionally, you can contact a local real estate agent who can help you find the perfect place to live. Additionally, you can also look for rental listings in local newspapers and online classifieds. Once you have identified a few potential properties, you can arrange to visit them in person to get a better feel for the area and the property," said one expat who made the move to Andorra.

Buying a home in Andorra can be a great investment, as the country has a stable economy and real estate market.
