Should I buy or rent a home in Armenia?

If you have not spent a lot of time in Armenia, you should rent before even thinking about buying. We asked expats there about the buy vs. rent decision:

"We rent a 3-Bdrm 2-BA (unusual) apartment with a roof garden in the center of the city for $700 a month," commented one expat who made the move to Yerevan.

Why do people move to Armenia?

When we asked people why foreigners move to Armenia, they responded:

"For starters, Armenia is known for its beauty and history, from its towering mountains, to its ancient churches and monuments. Secondly, the Armenian people are known for their warm hospitality and friendliness, making the country a delight to live in. Additionally, the Armenian economy promotes a positive business environment, providing stable job and investment opportunities. Moreover, with its low cost of living, Armenia can offer expats easy access to comfortable accommodation, transport, and quality goods and services. Finally, the country also has a vibrant art and cultural scene, featuring traditional music, dance, and art exhibitions. With so much to explore, Armenia attracts expats looking to enjoy life in an idyllic location," said one expat living in Armenia.

How are healthcare services Armenia?

When we asked expats and global nomads about the quality of medical care in Armenia, they replied:

"Healthcare services in Armenia are provided by both public and private institutions. The public healthcare system is funded by the government and is available to all citizens and foreign residents. The quality of public healthcare is generally good, with a wide range of services available, including primary care, specialist care, and hospital services. Expats in Armenia can access the public healthcare system, although they may need to pay for some services. Expats can also use private healthcare services, which are often more expensive but may offer a higher quality of care," wrote one expat living in Armenia.
