Digital Nomad Life in Connecticut

By Betsy Burlingame

Summary: Connecticut is not a particularly popular destination for digital nomads. The most popular cities for digital nomads in the US are generally larger cities such as New York City, San Francisco, and Austin. Digital nomads may like living in Connecticut because of its proximity to New York City and Boston, its access to the outdoors, and its relatively low cost of living. A digital nomad can live on a monthly budget of around $2,000 in Connecticut. This budget would cover rent, food, transportation, and other basic expenses. The culture of Connecticut is diverse and vibrant. There are many cultural attractions, such as museums, galleries, and theaters, as well as a variety of outdoor activities. Connecticut is also home to many universities and colleges, making it a great place for digital nomads to network and find new opportunities.

"Connecticut offers a wide range of healthcare services, including primary care, specialty care, mental health services, and preventive care. The state is home to some of the best hospitals and medical facilities in the country, including Yale New Haven Hospital, Hartford Hospital, and St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. These hospitals offer a variety of services, from emergency care to cancer treatment to rehabilitation. In addition, Connecticut has numerous community health centers, which provide comprehensive primary care services to underserved populations. These centers are located throughout the state, with the majority located in urban areas," explained one digital nomad living in Connecticut.
