This budget should cover rent, food, transportation, and other basic expenses. The culture of Kansas is diverse and welcoming. The state is known for its friendly people, its strong work ethic, and its commitment to family values. Kansas is also home to a variety of cultural attractions, such as museums, art galleries, and music venues.

What are healthcare services like in Kansas?

When we asked expats and global nomads about the quality of medical care in Kansas, they replied:

"Kansas offers a wide range of healthcare services, including primary care, specialty care, mental health services, and preventive care. The state is home to many excellent hospitals and medical facilities, including the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, and Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. These hospitals offer a variety of services, from emergency care to advanced treatments and surgeries. In addition, there are numerous community health centers throughout the state that provide quality care to those in need," explained one expat living in Kansas.

What are the pros and cons of living in Kansas?

"People who live in Kansas often enjoy the wide open spaces and the slower pace of life. The cost of living is also relatively low, making it an attractive place to live for those on a budget. On the other hand, some people may find the lack of cultural attractions and entertainment options to be a downside. Additionally, the weather can be unpredictable, with extreme temperatures and severe storms," said a member in Kansas.
