When we asked expats and global nomads about the quality of medical care in Louisiana, they replied:

"Louisiana offers a wide range of healthcare services, including primary care, specialty care, mental health services, and preventive care. The state is home to many excellent hospitals and medical facilities, including the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, and the Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. Other notable medical facilities in the state include the Baton Rouge General Medical Center, the University Medical Center in Lafayette, and the Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. What are the pros and cons of living in Louisiana?

"People in Louisiana enjoy the warm climate, the unique culture, and the delicious food. They also appreciate the friendly people and the vibrant music scene. On the other hand, some people find the humidity and the occasional hurricanes to be a downside to living in Louisiana. Additionally, the high cost of living in some areas can be a deterrent for some," commented a person living in Louisiana.
