Furthermore, the political situation in Zimbabwe is unstable, making it difficult to plan for the future," said one retiree in Zimbabwe.

"Retiring in Zimbabwe can be a rewarding experience due to its diverse culture, stunning landscapes, and friendly people. "Healthcare services in Zimbabwe are generally limited due to a lack of resources and funding. The country has a shortage of medical personnel, and many hospitals and clinics lack basic medical supplies and equipment. The government provides some free healthcare services, but these are often inadequate and of poor quality. Private healthcare is available, but it is expensive and out of reach for many people. The country also faces a high prevalence of HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other infectious diseases, which further strain the healthcare system," explained a retiree in Zimbabwe.
How do I meet people in Zimbabwe?
When we asked people living in Zimbabwe about club and activities where newcomers can meet others, they responded:
"Expats in Zimbabwe often join clubs and activities such as golf, tennis, and running. Expats also join social clubs, such as the Harare International Club, which offers a variety of activities and events. Additionally, expats can meet people by attending local events, such as music festivals, art exhibitions, and cultural celebrations. Expats can also meet people by attending church services, joining a gym, or volunteering with a local charity," said a retiree who moved to Zimbabwe.

"People living in Zimbabwe typically buy groceries and do other shopping at local markets, supermarkets, and convenience stores. Many people also shop at roadside stalls and informal markets, where they can find fresh produce and other goods. Additionally, some people may shop online or through mobile apps," said one retiree in living in Zimbabwe.
