Tax regulations must be followed when buying property in Argentina, such as the obligation of paying transfer taxes when buying a property. 7. Carefully review all documents before signing any purchase contracts. 8. Contract regulations must be followed before entering into a tenancy agreement with a landlord. 9. It is important to understand the local market and its dynamics before making an offer," explained one foreigner living in Argentina.

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Argentina. The Argentine government has established a legal framework that allows foreign citizens to purchase and own real estate in the country. Foreigners are required to obtain a Certificate of No Impediment from the Argentine consulate in their home country before they can purchase property in Argentina. Additionally, foreign citizens must register their property with the Argentine government and obtain a tax identification number," explained one person living in Argentina.
What appliances are typically included in a rental?
We asked foreigners in Argentina what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:
"In Argentina, rental properties typically come with fridge, stove, and oven. Washing machines and dishwashers are not as common, but can be found in more affluent households. In some cases, a water heater, air conditioner, and other appliances may be provided. Additionally, some properties provide basic kitchenware and linens," explained one person living in Argentina.
