Additionally, you can contact real estate agents in Qatar who can help you find a suitable property. Finally, you can also look for rental properties in newspapers and magazines," remarked one foreigner who made the move to Qatar.

When we asked expats what advice they would give a foreigner before buying a property in Qatar, they said:

We asked foreigners in Qatar what appliances are typically included in a rental, and, if there is anything else included or not included that a newcomer would not expect. Replies included:

"Rental properties in Qatar typically include a refrigerator, stove, oven, washing machine, and air conditioning unit. Some properties may also include a dishwasher, microwave, and other small appliances. Furniture may also be included in some rental properties," remarked one foreigner who made the move to Qatar.

Additionally, expats can also search for homes through local real estate agents, who can provide more detailed information about the local housing market and help expats find the perfect home. Finally, expats can also search for homes through online forums and social media groups, which can provide helpful advice and tips from other expats who have already gone through the process of finding a home in Qatar," said one expat in Qatar.
