The primary healthcare facility in the area is the Caye Caulker Health Center, which provides basic medical services, such as general consultations, minor surgeries, and emergency care. However, for more specialized treatments or advanced medical procedures, patients often need to travel to the mainland, where larger hospitals and clinics are available in cities like Belize City and Belmopan. Additionally, there are a few private clinics and pharmacies in The Cayes that offer primary care services and medications. It is also worth noting that healthcare services in the region may not be up to the standards of more developed countries, and medical professionals may face challenges such as limited resources and outdated equipment.
