The most common is to look through classifieds such as OLX, Expat Cairo, or Craigslist. Real estate agents can also be consulted for guidance in locating the perfect place. Alternatively, some neighborhoods in the area offer furnished apartments or renting a room or two in an existing apartment can be a great solution. Additionally, various websites such as Airbnb and VRBO allow visitors to rent a home from locals in the area, so it may be worth exploring these options as well," remarked one expat in Maadi, Egypt.
