What residency documents or visas did I need if I will be in siem reap for a while?
"If you plan to stay in Siem Reap, Cambodia for an extended period, you will need a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining. You will also need a visa, which can be obtained on arrival for most nationalities. However, this visa is typically only valid for 30 days. If you plan to stay longer, you should apply for an Ordinary Visa (also known as an E visa) instead of a tourist visa. The Ordinary Visa can be extended indefinitely, while the tourist visa can only be extended once, for an additional 30 days. You can apply for the Ordinary Visa on arrival, or online before you travel. If you apply online, you will receive an e-Visa that you can print and present when you arrive in Cambodia. In addition to your passport and visa, you may also be asked to provide proof of sufficient funds for your stay, and a return or onward travel ticket. If you plan to work in Cambodia, you will also need a work permit. This can be obtained from the Ministry of Labor once you have arrived in Cambodia and secured employment. Please note that visa requirements can change, so it's always a good idea to check the latest information from a reliable source, such as the Cambodian embassy or consulate in your home country, before you travel," explained one person living in siem reap , Cambodia.

"In Siem Reap, Cambodia, it is considered disrespectful to touch someone's head, as it is seen as the highest part of the body and therefore sacred. Avoid showing your feet or pointing with them, as they are considered the lowest and dirtiest part of the body. When visiting temples, dress modestly, covering your shoulders and knees. Avoid public displays of affection, as they are considered inappropriate in Cambodian culture. Do not take photographs of people without their permission, especially monks and children. Avoid discussing politics and the Khmer Rouge period, as these topics can be sensitive. Do not raise your voice or show anger in public, as it is seen as a sign of losing face and is considered very rude. Always use your right hand or both hands to give or receive something, as the left hand is considered impure. Do not step over food on the ground, as it is considered disrespectful.
