"We have lived in Vasant Vihar in SW of the city. We have followed other expatriate colleagues. We have also looked around to see differences between diff zones first," said one person in New Delhi.

"One of the best ways to find a place to live in New Delhi is to use online resources such as rental websites, classifieds, and real estate agents. You can also search for local newspapers and magazines that list available properties. Additionally, you can ask friends and family who live in the area for recommendations. Once you have narrowed down your search, it is important to visit the property in person to ensure it meets your needs and expectations," said one expat who made the move to New Delhi.

What do I need to know before moving to New Delhi?

When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to New Delhi, they said:

"Before retiring in New Delhi, expats should research the cost of living and the availability of healthcare services. It is also important to familiarize oneself with the local culture and customs, as well as the language.
