Finally, you can look for “For Rent” signs in the area," explained one expat living in Jabriya, Kuwait.

What do I need to know before moving to Jabriya?

When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Jabriya, they said:

"Expats considering retiring in Jabriya should be aware that the cost of living is relatively high, and that the climate is hot and dry. It is important to research the local laws and regulations, as well as the availability of healthcare and other services. Additionally, expats should be aware that English is not widely spoken in Jabriya, so it is important to learn some basic Arabic. Finally, expats should be aware that the culture in Kuwait is quite conservative, and it is important to respect local customs and traditions," said one person in Jabriya.

What do people appreciate most about the culture in Jabriya?

"Expats in Jabriya appreciate the hospitality of the local culture, which is evident in the warm welcome they receive from the locals. They also appreciate the strong sense of community and the willingness of the locals to help each other out. Additionally, expats enjoy the traditional cuisine, which is a mix of Middle Eastern and Indian flavors.
