Where should I live in Boquete?

What do I need to know before moving to Boquete?
When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Boquete, they said:
"Come and visit! I guarantee it is nothing like where you live. The culture is very different than the US and the systems and structures can sometimes make no sense at all. If you can't roll with things when they go wrong or get frustrating, it may not be for you," said one expat in Boquete.
"Be prepared to change your life. Leave behind all your pre concieved notions of how it should be, what you need, want, and must have to get by. EVERYTHING is different, embrace it, learn from it, apply what you can to your life but don't come here with demands, strict ideals, uptight lifestyle, and the idea that you are going to save a third world culture from itself. I find the opposite is what happens, it saves you from yourself and what ever madness you left behind," remarked one member in Boquete.
"Expats considering retiring in Boquete should be aware that the cost of living is relatively low compared to other countries, but it is still important to budget carefully. Boquete is a small town, so it is important to research the local amenities and services available before making the move. The climate in Boquete is generally mild and pleasant, but it is important to be aware of the rainy season and the potential for flooding. Additionally, it is important to research the local healthcare system and the availability of medical services in the area. Finally, it is important to research the local laws and regulations regarding residency and visas," explained one expat living in Boquete, Panama.
