Renting a home in Muscat can be a great option for those who are not ready to commit to buying a home, as it allows for more flexibility and can be more cost-effective in the short-term. Ultimately, the decision to buy or rent a home in Muscat should be based on individual needs and preferences," said one person in Muscat.

These ITCs are specifically designed for foreign ownership and provide a range of residential and commercial properties. Upon purchasing a property in an ITC, the foreign owner is also granted a residency visa for themselves and their immediate family members. However, foreigners are not allowed to own agricultural or rural land, and they cannot purchase property outside of the designated ITCs," said one in Muscat.
