Houses in Queretaro normally cost much more, with the average cost being around 17000 to 29000 Mexican Pesos per month," remarked one foreigner who made the move to Queretaro.

"When considering whether to buy or rent a home in Queretaro, it is important to weigh the pros and cons of each option. Additionally, depending on the current housing market, buying a home in Queretaro might be more affordable than renting. Ultimately, the right decision for you will depend on your unique lifestyle and financial situation," said one expat in Queretaro.

Before making the purchase, have the property inspected by an independent expert to verify any known or potential defects that may affect the value. 5. Consider using a lawyer to protect your rights and guarantee the legality of the contracts. 6. It is important to understand the local market and to be aware of potential risks and obstacles such as bureaucratic red tape, sudden changes in legal regulations, or risks of decline in value in certain areas. 7. Make sure to review all payment options, such as cash, instalment plans, and financial aid, to ensure you get the best deal possible," explained one expat in Queretaro.

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Queretaro. According to Mexican law, foreigners are allowed to purchase property in Mexico as long as they obtain a permit from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This permit is known as a Fideicomiso, and it allows the foreign buyer to own the property in their own name. The Fideicomiso also allows the foreign buyer to transfer the property to their heirs in the event of their death," remarked one foreigner who made the move to Queretaro.

"In a rental property in Queretaro, it is common for tenants to find a refrigerator, an oven, a dishwasher, a stove, and a clothes washer and dryer. Other appliances can sometimes be included, such as a microwave, a toaster, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, and a blender. Additionally, some landlords may also provide linens, towels, and other household items," said one person in Queretaro.
