"It is important to research the healthcare options available to you in Kampala before having a baby. Make sure to find a doctor or midwife that you trust and feel comfortable with. It is also important to be aware of the cultural norms and expectations surrounding childbirth in Uganda. Additionally, it is important to be aware of the immunization schedule for babies in Uganda and to make sure that your baby is up to date on all of their vaccinations. Finally, it is important to build a support network of family and friends who can help you during the pregnancy and after the baby is born," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Kampala, Uganda.
