What advice do you have for expats having a baby in Kharkov?

Answer this Question

We asked expat moms who gave birth in Kharkov about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...

"1. Make sure to research the healthcare system in Kharkov and find a reputable hospital or clinic for your delivery. 2. Consider hiring a doula or midwife to provide additional support during the pregnancy and delivery. 3. Familiarize yourself with the local laws and regulations regarding birth registration and obtaining a birth certificate. 4. Reach out to other expat parents in the area for advice and support. 5. Take advantage of the many resources available to expat parents in Kharkov, such as English-speaking pediatricians and international schools. 6. Make sure to plan ahead and have all the necessary supplies and equipment ready for the baby's arrival," said another expat in Kharkov, Ukraine.
