"The cost of living in Hanoi is generally quite affordable. Basic necessities such as food, transportation, and accommodation are relatively inexpensive compared to other cities in the region. Eating out at restaurants is also quite affordable, with a meal at a mid-range restaurant costing around $3-5 USD. Renting an apartment in the city center can range from $200-400 USD per month, depending on the size and location. Utilities such as electricity and water are also relatively inexpensive," wrote a member who made the move to Hanoi, Vietnam.
