"The cost of living in Tijuana is generally considered to be lower than in its U.S. neighbor, San Diego. Renting an apartment in the city is relatively inexpensive when compared to other Mexico cities. Food, utilities, and transportation are all inexpensive as well. Additionally, movie tickets and basic services such as haircuts, laundry or dry cleaning are much cheaper," said another expat in Tijuana, Mexico.
