"Hellerup is generally considered to be a safe area with low levels of crime. The area is well-policed and there are few reports of serious criminal activity. However, as with any area, there are some incidents of petty crime such as pickpocketing and vandalism. Residents are encouraged to take precautions to protect their property and to report any suspicious activity to the police," remarked another expat in Hellerup, Denmark.
