Violent crime is also a concern, with reports of armed robberies, kidnappings, and assaults. The government has taken steps to address the issue, including increasing police presence in high-crime areas and introducing tougher penalties for certain offenses," commented one expat who made the move to Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
