Is there a lot of diversity? Are people in Patzcuaro accepting of differences?
When we asked people about diversity in Patzcuaro and whether locals are accepting of differences, they said...
"Patzcuaro, is a culturally diverse city, with a population comprising a variety of different religions, ethnic groups, and backgrounds. People from around the world have found their way to the city in search of opportunities or simply to enjoy the unique cultural landscape. The locals of Patzcuaro, Mexico, are welcoming and tolerant of differences, having actively maintained their cultural heritage for centuries. This makes for a peaceful and accepting atmosphere for everyone who visits," remarked another expat who made the move to Patzcuaro, Mexico.
"I would think that most people are Catholic. I haven't seen any other churches and the children attend Catholic schools. As anywhere the wealthy are interested in making more money. Mexicans are very polite here and would rather lie than hurt your feelings. So it is difficult to know," explained one expat living in Patzcuaro, Mexico.
