"Before retiring in Hyderabad, expats should be aware of the cost of living, the availability of healthcare, the climate, and the local culture. It is important to research the city and its neighborhoods to find the best fit for one's lifestyle. Additionally, expats should be aware of the visa requirements and the process for obtaining a visa. It is also important to familiarize oneself with the local language, as English is not widely spoken in Hyderabad. Finally, expats should be aware of the local laws and regulations, and ensure that they are compliant with them," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Hyderabad, India.
"He can consider moving into the city, but I would advise him to stay in a place at least 20 km away. The city centre is highly polluted and traffic is CRAZY. For a comfortable living a couple has to earn a minimum of Rs 25 000," commented one expat who made the move to Hyderabad, India.
