What are the schools in Sharjah like?
When we asked about the schools in Sharjah, they said...
"As a happy parent of a happy child who will be commencing her 3rd year at VES in September, in my opinion there is really little advice that one parent can give to another regarding the schooling of that person's child. It depends on the individual requirements of the parent whether each or any particular school ticks all the right boxes to ultimately make the right decision as to where to place your child. To ensure this, if you obtain an interview or attend an open day, don't be afraid to ask questions, the staff are open, honest, friendly and professional," remarked one parent with kids at Victoria English School in Sharjah.
"Sharjah is home to some of the best international and bilingual schools in the United Arab Emirates. The American University of Sharjah (AUS) is a leading international university offering a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs. The school is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and is a member of the Association of American International Colleges and Universities. The school is also home to the American School of Sharjah, a K-12 school offering an American-style curriculum. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the Council of International Schools. The Sharjah Indian School is a private, co-educational school offering an Indian curriculum. The school is accredited by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and is a member of the Indian Public Schools Conference. The school is also home to the Sharjah Indian High School, which offers a bilingual curriculum in English and Hindi. The Sharjah English School is a private, co-educational school offering an English-language curriculum. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools and is a member of the International Baccalaureate Organization.
