What should I pack when moving to Managua?

Answer this Question

We asked people living in Managua to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"When moving to Managua, it is important to pack clothing suitable for the tropical climate, such as lightweight, breathable fabrics. Sun protection is also essential, so don't forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Additionally, it is a good idea to bring a first aid kit, insect repellent, and any necessary medications. It is also important to bring a few items to make your new home feel more comfortable, such as a few pictures, books, and other personal items. Finally, make sure to bring a valid passport and any other important documents," explained one expat living in Managua, Nicaragua.
