For the cooler winter months, bring a few sweaters and a light jacket. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also essential for the sunny days. Additionally, bring items that will help you enjoy the outdoors such as a beach towel, swimsuit, and a hat. Don't forget to bring your passport and other important documents," said another expat in The Algarve, Portugal.
