"Actually, they are comparable! I came here from living in Phoenix for the last year. Had to be very fiscally conservative there-just another victim of the economic debacle-and so I am prepared to continue this ecomically challenged life-style. It is what it is! Panama offers such an amazing variety of natural riches,that I feel quite wealthy! "The cost of housing in Panama City can vary greatly depending on the area and type of property. Generally, the average cost of a one-bedroom apartment in the city center is around $800 to $1,000 per month, while a three-bedroom apartment in the suburbs can cost around $1,200 to $1,500 per month. Prices for larger homes and luxury properties can range from $2,000 to $5,000 per month," wrote a member who made the move to Panama City, Panama.
