Will I need to travel to see a specialist?

Answer this Question

When we asked members in Rosarito if they typically need to travel to see specialists, they replied...

"Yes, Rosarito, has a good number of medical specialists available. Many people in the region go to Tijuana to access highly specialized medical care, as the city has some of the best hospitals and clinics in the country. The Mexican Health Ministry, the National Institute of Health, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Baja California, and the Medical Unit of the Americas are some of the organizations in Tijuana that provide highly specialized medical services. Additionally, Rosarito itself has multiple state-of-the-art medical centers such as the Rosarito Medical Center and the Rosarito Medical Care Facility. These medical centers offer a wide range of services and are staffed by highly trained medical professionals," explained one expat living in Rosarito, Mexico.
