As a foreigner living in Modena, will I have access to public healthcare? What is it like?

Answer this Question

We asked expats in Modena if they have access to public healthcare in Modena. And, if they do have access, what is it like. They wrote...

"Yes, as a foreigner living in Modena, you will have access to public healthcare. The public healthcare system in Modena is generally considered to be of a high quality, with a wide range of services available. The system is funded by the Italian government and is free for all citizens and residents. The public healthcare system in Modena includes a network of hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities, as well as a variety of specialized services. In addition, there are a number of private healthcare providers in the city, which offer a range of services at a cost," commented one expat who made the move to Modena, Italy.
