What do people like (and dislike) about Tamarindo?
When we asked expats and global nomads what they like and dislike about living in Tamarindo, they replied...
"Expatriates and digital nomads living in Tamarindo enjoy the laid-back atmosphere, the stunning beaches, and the abundance of outdoor activities. They also appreciate the friendly locals, the low cost of living, and the easy access to amenities. On the other hand, some expats and digital nomads may find the lack of infrastructure and public transportation inconvenient, and the high levels of tourism can be overwhelming," explained one expat living in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
"I enjoy the Tamarindo area and surrounding quite well but I prefer the Paquera area and Saint Therese. The infrastructure needs a lot of work here. There are many businesses and expats, lots to do and plenty to see. It is a super area for young and active," said another in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
