"Cost of living is pretty high, but there is a huge variety of income ranges and shops that cater to them. You can live a life of opulence and luxury, or get by quite well on a variety of cheaper options. We found that paying for our kids education was the greatest expense," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Abu Dhabi, UAE.

"The cost of living in Abu Dhabi is relatively expensive, as the city is known for its luxurious lifestyle and thriving nightlife. One bedroom apartments in the city tend to range from around $1,200-2,400 USD, while two bedroom apartments start around $2,200 and can cost up to $6,800 per month. Eating out in Abu Dhabi is also pricey, with dinner at a moderately priced restaurant costing around $25 per person," commented one expat who made the move to Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
