What advice do you have for expats having a baby in United States?
We asked expat moms who gave birth in United States about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...
"First and foremost, make sure you are familiar with the US healthcare system. Research various hospitals and health providers in your local area to find a doctor and provider that you trust. It is also important to get in touch with local expat communities for advice and support. Look out for classes and seminars about pregnancy and childbirth. Additionally, if you are eligible for health insurance, make sure you research what is covered and what isn't prior to the birth. Last, but not least, remember to relax and enjoy this exciting time in your life," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to United States.
