"If you are planning to stay in Belize for an extended period of time, you will need to apply for a residence visa. Depending on your nationality, the type of visa you require may vary. You may also need to provide documents such as a valid passport, proof of health insurance, and supporting evidence of sufficient funds in order to cover your living expenses during your stay. Additionally, you may also be required to provide a police certificate from your home country as part of the application process," explained one expat living in Belize.
