Generally, the cost of living in Scotland is higher than in other parts of the UK, with rent and utilities being the most expensive. Groceries, transportation, and entertainment are also more expensive than in other parts of the UK. However, Scotland is known for its high quality of life, with a wide range of cultural activities, beautiful scenery, and a strong sense of community," commented one expat who made the move to Scotland.
