We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...

"Tlaxcala State has one of the lowest crime rates in the country. But there is always petty crime everywhere and a person should always be alert and cautious," remarked another expat who made the move to Apizaco, Mexico.

"There is less crime here than where we lived NOB. There is some petty crime.. burglaries and an occasional mugging. But these appear to be no worse than many places up north," explained one expat living in Lake Chapala, Mexico.
