When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Ireland, they reponded...

"Foreigners often work in Ireland in a variety of occupations, ranging from service and hospitality jobs, such as wait staff and chefs, to administrative and software engineering positions. Other common jobs for foreigners include teaching, nursing, and construction work. A variety of skilled trades, including electricians, carpenters, and plumbers, are also frequently in-demand. In addition, many foreigners participate in cultural exchanges or work holiday programs, which provide temporary work opportunities in various industries," remarked another expat in Ireland.

"IT is big here. Google has its EU headquarters here, and Yahoo has a base here as well," said a member in Dublin, Ireland.
