When we asked people about industries and career opportunities in Japan, they reponded...

"There are many jobs in construction, entertainment, food service, and on the military bases as well. There is a high level of unemployment on Okinawa year round," remarked another expat in Okinawa, Japan.

"Foreigners often have jobs in Japan such as teaching English, working in the hospitality industry, working in the IT industry, working in the finance industry, and working in the retail industry. They may also work as translators, interpreters, or in other professional services. Additionally, some foreigners may find work in the entertainment industry, such as in the music or film industry," said a member in Japan.
