Is there a lot of diversity? Are people in Australia accepting of differences?
When we asked people about diversity in Australia and whether locals are accepting of differences, they said...
"Australia is a country with a diverse range of cultures, religions, beliefs and customs. People from different backgrounds and cultures co-exist in harmony and openness. The Australian public is generally accepting of differences and celebrates diversity in a variety of forms. People are encouraged to express themselves and their culture in various ways, from food and language to music and art. As such, the diverse culture present in Australia is warmly accepted and embraced," remarked another expat in Australia.
"Yes, Melbourne is very multicultural and you are generally free to be whoever you want to be," said a member in Melbourne, Australia.
