We asked people living in Greece to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"When moving to Greece, it is important to pack items that will help you adjust to the climate and culture. Pack comfortable, lightweight clothing that is suitable for the warm Mediterranean climate. Bring items that will help you stay cool, such as hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Make sure to bring a few items of clothing that are appropriate for more formal occasions, such as a dinner or a business meeting. Additionally, it is important to bring items that will help you adjust to the culture, such as a phrasebook or a guidebook. Don't forget to bring any necessary documents, such as your passport and visa. Finally, make sure to bring any items that will help you feel at home, such as photos of family and friends," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Greece.
