"It is important to research the local culture and customs before moving to Turkey. It is also important to learn some basic Turkish phrases to help with communication. Expats should also be aware of the cost of living in Turkey, as it can be higher than in some other countries. Additionally, expats should be aware of the visa requirements for entering and staying in Turkey. It is also important to research the healthcare system in Turkey and to make sure that you have adequate health insurance coverage. Finally, expats should be aware of the political situation in Turkey and the potential for civil unrest," said another expat in Turkey.
