"Yes - tons of pharmacies in town, including at least one open on Sunday. I don't have any prescriptions but my husband gets costs like glasses and contacts and shoe inserts covered through the government health insurance system," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Epinal, France.

"Yes, common prescription medications are available in France. Most medications are available through pharmacies, and some are available over the counter. Prescription medications must be prescribed by a doctor and are typically dispensed by a pharmacist. In France, the government regulates the prices of medications, so they are generally more affordable than in other countries," commented one expat who made the move to France.
