What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats and global nomads in Liberia about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...

"The pandemic has had a significant impact on the healthcare system in Liberia. Access to healthcare has become increasingly difficult due to the closure of many health facilities and the lack of resources. Many healthcare workers have been overworked and underpaid, leading to a shortage of medical personnel. The government has implemented various measures to help contain the spread of the virus, such as travel restrictions, social distancing, and the closure of schools and businesses. Despite these efforts, the pandemic has had a devastating effect on the healthcare system in Liberia, with many people unable to access the care they need," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Liberia.
