When we asked expats in Argentina if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Argentina. The Argentine government has established a legal framework that allows foreign citizens to purchase and own real estate in the country. Foreigners are required to obtain a Certificate of No Impediment from the Argentine consulate in their home country before they can purchase property in Argentina. Additionally, foreign citizens must register their property with the Argentine government and obtain a tax identification number," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Argentina.
