Are foreigners allowed to own property in Brunei?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Brunei if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Brunei. The government has implemented a number of measures to make it easier for foreign investors to purchase property in the country. Foreigners are allowed to purchase residential and commercial properties, as well as land for development. However, they must obtain approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs before they can purchase any property. Additionally, foreigners are not allowed to own agricultural land in Brunei," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Brunei.
