Are foreigners allowed to own property in Sudan?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Sudan if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Foreigners are not allowed to own property in Sudan. According to the Sudanese Land Act of 1998, only Sudanese citizens are allowed to own land in Sudan. Foreigners are only allowed to lease land for a period of up to 99 years. The lease agreement must be approved by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Finance," said another expat in Sudan.
