About Chinese International School
Chinese International School (CIS) is a private, co-educational day school located in the Braemar Hill area of Hong Kong. Founded in 1983, CIS was the first school in Hong Kong to offer a curriculum that combines Chinese and English as languages of instruction. The school serves students from Reception to Year 13, preparing them for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in the final two years. With a strong emphasis on bilingual education and global citizenship, CIS aims to cultivate students who are not only proficient in both languages but also respectful of diverse cultures and equipped to contribute to the global community. The school boasts a vibrant international student body, state-of-the-art facilities, and a commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. CIS's dedicated faculty and supportive environment foster a love for learning and encourage students to pursue their passions while developing critical thinking and leadership skills.
